For the first time this season we have had a selection dilemma as opposed to the usual availability crisis. Selection has been done covering a variety of factors including team strength and balance, past and future availability, and Sunday games being available for those who miss out. Unfortunately we can only pick 22 players for Saturday and have had some real headaches – in particular Harry Hunter and George Nicholls miss out but I have no doubt they will be back very shortly. Also special mention to Stu Rainford who has been an ever present in the 1s thus far, it is awesome to see Stu back playing, and we are aiming to manage his busy fixture and fatherhood schedule! We also see the return of the Ragg’s – both Hughie and Eddie returning to 1’s and 2’s teams respectively, it is great to see!!

On Sunday we also have the makings of a strong side and could do with a few more for any that want to play?

We have two very strong sides out this week – we now need to take personal responsibility for our own performances. Let’s support each other, play as a team whilst also stepping up and leading By each of us being at our best and playing our part in the game when the chance comes! Lets not rely on others to get the runs and the wickets – everyone playing can be a match winner!

Lets find our inner Freddie Flintoff’s and bring home two wins!!!!
