Under 10 sessions – 2024 season

Welcome to the Under 10’s webpage for the 2024 season

General info

The Under 10’s group (School year 5) train on a Friday night on the Green from 6pm – 7pm from Friday 19 April 2024 to end July 2024.

We cater for boys and girls of all abilities and backgrounds, and the focus of the training sessions will be to develop the children’s cricketing skills in a fun environment. Girls in this age group are also able to join the Girls under 11 age group (see Under 11 Girls web page)

Kit

Players will require pads, gloves, helmets and bats (usually size 3 for under 10’s ) and whilst the club has available for use , some players may wish to purchase their own. Boys must wear a box while batting and although the club has spare boxes, players are encouraged to purchase their own boxes for hygiene reasons.

Please click here to go to our ‘ordering kit’ webpage which contains a lot of useful information on purchasing a bat (Kashmir bats are more than good enough for this age group), helmets and pads.

When playing in matches players should wear the Wisborough Green club shirt (short sleeve is best) which can be purchased from the Gray Nichols online store which can be found on the ‘ordering kit‘ web page

Boys must wear a box when batting in the nets and in matches.

Are you able to help ?
