Another great week of cricket with four of our teams in action . Some top class batting and bowling performances to report on including a number of 50’s and a six wicket haul.
A somewhat special day in the Dixon household with Dad and three sons all playing for the Second X1 on Saturday

- Green notch up first victory of the season by thrashing Middleton by 7 wickets
- Middleton win the toss and elect to bat

- Nick Klein blows away oppo with fiery display of fast bowling
- Middleton end with 133 all out in the 32nd over after being 79 for 1 in the 16th over

Under 14 vs West Chiltington
- Under 14’s get their season on the road with match against in form West Chiltington
- Dad Warmington steps up to umpire his first match for the under v14’s
- Zach Whittle top scores with 38 not out after batting right through the innings
- Harry Hunter ends the day on 27 not out after confident display
- Green set oppo target of 88 to win
- West Chilt openers get off to a good start and take control of the game
- Green bowlers struggle to make impact
- Oppo reach target with all wickets intact in 15th over

- WGCC under 12’s come out fighting with convincing win against Slinfold
- Green put into bat and take advantage early on with positive batting display
- Ran Dawson, Oscar Walmington & Will Dixon all retire on 30+
- Tom Bonney keeps the momentum going with an elegant 25 not out.
- WG build impressive total of 163 after 20 overs.
- Positive intent in the field with bowling and ground fielding restricts the Slinfold batsmen
- Charlie Burchell, Seb Wibaut & Zac Dawson bowl economically early on
- Fraser Williams, Rufus Foden and Isaac Paisley all get wickets
