A rain interrupted weekend of cricket with our senior teams and under 12’s in action – news of the games below

WGU12 remain undefeated in exciting game at Steyning
Steyning win the toss and elect to field
Strong opening partnerships with some explosive shot making from Ran Dawson (32 runs, retired), Will Dixon (22 runs) and Issac Paisley (17 runs) create a strong platform
Sensible batting from Zac Dawson and Fraser Williams finally leave WG on 129 for 4 after 20.
Umpires and scorers have a stand off as the teams are brought off prematurely after 19 overs
A solid bowling and fielding performance from all restrict Steyning. Charlie Burchell ends up with 2 wickets for 3 off 2 overs.
William Green forces a run out with a direct hit
Great performance from Fraser Williams behind the stumps with only 2 byes and some impressive takes on the leg side.
Steyning finish with 103 for 7 after their 20.
Another great all-round performance with every member of the team contributing.
