Hi everyone
Welcome this week’s Wizzy News.
It feels so strange to be in the sunny month of June and to not have had a single game of cricket played , or witness the hive of activity on the green on a Friday evening. Those were the days… sigh
Some good news to report is that the ECB have just updated their guidance and are permitting cricket training in small groups. The Cricket Club Committee are currently investigating ways that the club can offer some form of training in a safe environment and will be sending out communication shortly.
As far as senior cricket is concerned the first senior games are penciled in to commence on 4 July and the Sussex Cricket league will be informing clubs by 18 June if there will be any change to this date.
